Yeah, yeah… I know. LeDoux was shot by Hart…
But weren’t you expecting a bigger giant. Someone fantastically tall? LeDoux was 6’7″ and he didn’t even look that in this shot with Cohle. Cohle is a short man and in this shot if LeDoux were to stand up he’d be maybe a head over him. Not Giant sized IMO at all…
Seriously though, didn’t anyone think, after you all saw this photo of a giant in Major Salter’s office, that there was going to be an actual Giant-sized Giant by the end of this?
Or was everyone too disturbed by the frightening Taxidermied animals behind Salter that no one noticed the GIANT Giant in the photo next to Rust? I mean seriously, what is up with that bobcat? That is one seriously effed up Taxidermist.
I think most of us here have seen David Lynch’s Twin Peaks… so… we know a giant when we see one, right?

So True Detective… where is my promised Giant? Cause I just don’t feel like I’ve seen him yet. And it doesn’t seem that Carel Struycken has done any screen acting since 2010… so… What is the hold up?
Interestingly though… Carel Struycken does have his own photography website (click here) that highlights Spherical Panoramas, which conveniently fits into Rustin Cohle’s Time is a Circle theory…
